The Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon, Artificial Human Evangelion Production Model-08 is a repaired version of the Evangelion Production Model-08, which suffered severe damage to both arms in the battle against NERV. The repairs were made using spare parts, and the restored arms were equipped with a power-assist system similar to a mechanical exoskeleton. In the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time, the Evangelion Production Model-08 piloted by Mari Makinami Illustrious engages in combat together with the Evangelion Production Model New 02.
