History

The wild creatures in this Exotic Fun Pack face a mostly uncertain future. Only the African Meerkat and the Australian Kangaroo have stable populations and dont face concerns. The Panda population of China has stabilized, but numbers are low, so they are still considered vulnerable. The Cheetahs and Zebras of Africa and the Koalas of Australia are all experiencing declining populations and are therefore considered vulnerable. Chimpanzees are endangered and populations are decreasing, while Orangutans are considered critically endangered, with fragmented populations falling to levels that will make recovery more difficult. Unfortunately, the pressures faced by all these creatures are human caused, including deforestation, land-use changes, and illegal poaching.
